CITIZEN Watches Three-Year Limited Warranty

Every Citizen Quartz watch purchased in Australia, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa and the South Pacific Islands from a Citizen Authorised Dealer, is accompanied by a Three Year Limited Warranty valid from the date of purchase. This Warranty applies to all Quartz watches giving superior protection and peace of mind to the consumer. Included in the first year of this Warranty is a one year International Guarantee.

CITIZEN ECO-DRIVE and Promaster Five-Year Limited Warranty

Every Citizen Eco-Drive and Promaster timepiece purchased in Australia, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa and the South Pacific Islands from a Citizen Authorised Dealer, is accompanied by a Five Year Limited Warranty valid from the date of purchase. This Warranty applies to all light powered and promaster quartz watches giving superior protection and peace of mind to the consumer. Included in the first year of this Warranty is a one year International Guarantee.

Warranty does not cover

  1. Damage, accidental or otherwise, to the watch while in the possession of a consumer not caused by a defect in material or workmanship;
  2. Damage caused by consumer misuse, tampering, or failure to follow the care and special handing provisions in the instructions;
  3. Damage to the finish of the case, crystal, bracelet, strap, or other appearance parts such as glass, crown and stem caused by wear, accidental damage and/or misuse. This also excludes any damage caused to the power cell being replaced by a non-Citizen authorised repairer;
  4. Moisture damage to a watch not marked ‘water resistant’ on the case back;
  5. Damage caused by the consumer’s failure to have the watch serviced, at the consumer’s expense, in accordance with the following schedule of regular maintenance:
    1. Power cells must be replaced immediately when power is lost;
    2. Water resistant watches should be tested and resealed every three years or whenever the battery in replaced, whichever comes first;
  6. Damage caused by repairs or alterations of the watch by anyone other than other than one of the Worldwide Service Centres listed in the booklet.

Watch repairs takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks. If we need to source parts from overseas, lead time is 4-6 weeks. There is no cost involved in checking or assessing your watch.

What does your warranty include?

The Warranty includes watch movements. It does not include accidental damage to the finish of the case, crystal, bracelet, strap, stem and crown or other appearance parts caused by wear.

The original Power Cell in the watch is a test Power Cell and is therefore not covered by the warranty.

POLICE TIMEPIECES International Warranty

Your POLICE brand  watch is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship by POLICE TIMEPIECES under the terms and conditions of  this warranty, for a period of  two(2) years from the original date of purchase.

This warranty covers the following components: the  watch  movement,  hands and dial.  Should a covered component be defective in materials or workmanship during the warranty period under normal use, it  will  be  repaired  or  the  watch  will  be  replaced (at  the  sole  discretion  of  the  service center) free of  repair charges.  A  copy  of  the  receipt or  dealer stamp  is  required for  proof  of  purchase.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Battery,  case, crystal,  strap or  bracelet
Damage resulting  from  improper handling, lack of  care,  accidents or  normal  wear  and  tear
Water damage unless marked  “water resistant”
This  warranty is  void if  the watch  has  been damaged by  accident, negligence, unauthorized  service,  or other factors not due to defects in material or workmanship.

In  case  of  replacement,  POLICE  TIMEPIECES  cannot  guarantee  that  you  will  receive the  same model watch.  If  your  model is  not  available, a  watch  of  equal  value  and similar  appearance  will  be  provided.

THIS WARRANTY  GIVES YOU SPECIFIC  LEGAL  RIGHTS,  YOU MAY  ALSO HAVE  OTHER RIGHTS,  WHICH  VARY  FROM COUNTRY  TO  COUNTRY.

*REQUESTING WARRANTY OR  OTHER WATCH REPAIRS
Please send  your watch, a copy  of  your  sales  receipt and/or the warranty  booklet with the  dealer stamp  and   a  description of  the  problem  to the  authorized  international  watch  service  center  closest  to you.

*For  service  work that  is  not  covered  under  warranty,  the  service  center  may  perform  the services  you  request  for  a  charge  dependent  on watch  style  and  type  of  work  requested.   These  charges  are  subject to change.

Do  not  send  original  packing,  as  it  will  not  be  returned.   POLICE  TIMEPIECES  highly  recommends  you  insure  your  parcel  and  adequately  protect  the  watch  during shipment. POLICE  TIMEPIECES  is not  responsible  for  products  lost  or  damaged  during  shipment.

Certificate of warranty

The certificate of warranty is to be completed at time of purchase by the retail store where you purchased your watch.

 

TIMBERLAND WATCHES

2 year warranty from original date of purchase.

This warranty covers the following components; the movement, hands and dial. Should a covered component be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period under normal use, it will be repaired or the watch will be replaced (at the sole discretion of the service center ) free of repair charges. A copy of the receipt or dealer stamp is required for proof of payment.

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Battery, case, crystal, strap or bracelet.
  • damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
  • water damage unless marked as ‘water-resistant’
  • (water damage of leather strap is not guaranteed in any circumstances)

This warranty is void if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorised service, or other factors not due to defects in materials or workmanship.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights you may also have other rights, which vary from country to country.

Requesting warranty or other repairs

Please send your watch, a copy of your sales receipt and warranty booklet with the dealer stamp and a description of the problem to the authorised watch service center closest to you.

For service work that is not covered under warranty, the service center may perform the services you request for a charge dependent on watch style and type of work requested.

Timberland Timepieces highly recommends you insure your parcel and adequately protect the watch during shipment. Timberland Timepieces is not responsible for product loss or damage during shipping.

 

OBAKU WATCHES

Obaku Watches are guaranteed for 2 years, from date of purchase and within conditions described below and in the warranty book.

Your Obaku Denmark watch has been manufactured to precise specifications and subjected to a series of quality tests. It is guaranteed to be free from any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, tear and use of the watch. Should a problem with the watch occur, please contact an authorised Obaku Denmark watch dealer.

You will need a copy of the receipt or dealer stamp.

 

HALLMARK WATCHES

1 Year Guarantee

If the HALLMARK watch described in the guarantee proves defective due to any defect in material or workmanship – under or normal use and service, it will be repaired and/or adjusted at no charge for a period of one year from the original purchase date. In this case, take the watch with the guarantee to the source of your purchase or to a member of HALLMARK service network.

Caution

  1. The guarantee is void in the following cases:
    1. Failure caused by misuse or carelessness.
    2. Failure caused by an unauthorised repair and modification.
    3. The guarantee is not submitted or the entry is improper.
  2. Glass, battery cell and plating are not included in the guarantee.
  3. In repair, the case, dial plate, hands, glass, and bracelet may be substituted.
  4. This guarantee supercedes any common law warranty arising from the sale of the watch.
  5. NB. Only the movement of your HALLMARK watch is guaranteed for a year.

 

SISSY BOY WATCHES

Your Sissy Boy watch is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the origional date of purchase.

The warranty covers the following components:

  • Movement, Hands, Dials

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Battery, case, glass, strap/bracelet and plating.
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear.

 

SUPERDRY WATCHES

Superdry Watches are guaranteed for 2 years, from date of purchase and within conditions described below and in the warranty book.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Batteries, Stones, Straps, Bracelets and Watch Glasses.
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear.
  • Water penetration except watches that are specifically marked as “Water resistant”.
  • Tarnishing of watch bracelets or cases.

 

Q&Q WATCHES

Q&Q Watches are guaranteed for 1 year, from date of purchase and within conditions described below and in the warranty book.

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Batteries, Stones, Straps, Bracelets and Watch Glasses.
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear.

 

TED BAKER WATCHES

Your Ted Baker London watch comes with a 2 Year Warranty. This means that your watch is warrantied to you, the owner, against defects in materials and workmanship under the terms and conditions of this warranty for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.

This warranty covers the following items:  Watch Movement, Hands, Dial and Crown. Should one of these covered components be shown to be defective in its materials or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the service center.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Battery, Case, Crystal, Strap, Bracelet or Other Embellishments
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
  • Water damage if watch is not marked as water resistant

 

DANIEL KLEIN WATCHES

Has a limited warranty that covers manufacturer’s defects for 1 year after the original purchase
DANIEL KLEIN Watches have a water resistance of 3 ATM. Please avoid all contact with water, as water damage is not covered under warranty.

 

GANT WATCHES

INTERNATIONAL LIMITED WARRANTY

An international limited warranty is provided with every Gant Timepiece sold by an authorised retailer, and is the accepted proof of purchase. A signed and stamped warranty and/or receipt is required with every warranty claim or the cost of repair will be charged. WARRANTY 2 YEARS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE COVERED

Defects caused by faulty material or workmanship NOT COVERED the crystal (glass) the strap or bracelet alterations made to the case. General wear and tear NOT COVERED

Evidence of Misuse, Careless or Neglectful Treatment or Accidental Damage VOIDS WARRANTY

 

FCUK WATCHES

All French Connection models come with a two-year warranty.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Battery, Case, Crystal, Strap, Bracelet or Other Embellishments
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
  • Water damage if watch is not marked as water resistant

 

KAREN MILLEN WATCHES

Watches come with the full international manufacturer’s guarantee of 2 years.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Battery, Case, Crystal, Strap, Bracelet or Other Embellishments
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear
  • Water damage if watch is not marked as water resistant

 

BEN SHERMAN WATCHES

Official manufacturers product defect guarantee of 2 years. This guarantee excludes watch straps and batteries.

 

DAISY DIXON WATCHES

Daisy Dixon  watches is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under the terms and conditions of  this warranty, for a period of  3 years from the original date of purchase.

ZIIIRO WATCHES

Your ZIIIRO watch is protected by our International Limited Warranty, under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The warranty covers defects in movement or mechanism and workmanship that may occur under normal usage for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase, provided it has been sold by an authorized and appointed dealer.

The warranty excludes any liability for defects arising (directly or indirectly) from improper handling, alterations, incorrect/abusive use, accidental damage; water penetration (except in watches marked as “water-resistant”); life of the battery; normal wear and tear to the watch case, glass, straps, clasps and metal bracelets; discoloring occurring through normal usage or any damage caused by batteries in electronic watches.

Authorised Service Centre:

We recommend that in need of service or repair your watch be taken to an Authorised Service Centre (listed below).
Any damage caused by repairs or alterations by unauthorised technicians may void your warranty.

Should you not be happy with your purchase you can return the watch within 7 days in the original condition ( box and manuals included). We will send a courier to collect the watch from you. Once we’ve confirmed that the watch is in its original condition we will transfer the funds to your account less a 7% admin fee.
